October Lunch & Learn: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Creatives with Krissi Echevarria

Join us to learn foundational knowledge about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and why it is critical for the creative industry. Guest Speaker Krissi Echevarria, DEI Program Manager at LINC Lehigh Valley, will expand on the ways diversity enhances creativity, expands perspectives, and leads to more innovative and relatable content. We’ll learn about global movements and local initiatives that are transforming creative industries through inclusive practices. Further, the session will explore the case for DEI through local, national, and global data, and offer practical steps for creatives to get started, including resources available in the Lehigh Valley.

Participants will learn specific actions to take immediately, including collaborating with diverse talent and strategies for inclusive content creation.The session will conclude with time for Q/A. Afterwards, all participants will receive an information deck containing additional resources and materials.
