Lehigh Valley families are invited to join us for Young at Art!

As an expo of creative learning, Young at Art is all about experiencing the arts first hand. Children of all ages can try out instruments, participate in interactive arts activities, and experience performances by their peers in every artistic discipline.

Parents, you will witness how the arts spark your child’s imagination and have the opportunity to gather valuable information about lessons, classes, summer camps, and other educational offerings by local cultural organizations.

Young at Art Hosts

Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou

DARIA (Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou) is a performer, songwriter, folksinger and ethnomusicologist with four decades of contributions to folk and family music.  Many of her songs like “I Have A Dream”, “Beautiful Rainbow World”, “Assalam Aleykum” and “The Earth Day Song” have been used around the world as anthems for social justice, inclusivity and stewardship of the Earth.

Pioneer of the genre of “World Music for Children”, Daria is Grammy-nominated, has 4 Parent’s Choice and One World Music Award plus a host of other educational and entertainment honors.   She speaks and sings in English, Spanish, Quechua and 4 other languages and her bilingual version of La Cucaracha is a Youtube viral kids music hit with over 7 million views! Most recently she is also the author of the new book: The World Music ABC’s.

Michael Judkins

It is creating stories that reach, teach, and empower. 10+ years of experience in the creative industry as an independent Creative Director, Screenwriter/Writer, and content creator. Mental Health Advocate. Believe that art can change lives! He Holds an Associate Of Science in Journalism, a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. In addition to the Product Management Certification, Safe Set Certification, and Winning Director/Writer Producer (Lonely Girl- ShortFilm2022) Films Festivals. Michael was signed to AOIS 21Media Publishing House, which published his Second Poetry. The collection is titled “ Interlude to Sentimental Me.” Later, turning the poetry into a stage play with two sold-out nights in Bethlehem, PA, in 2018. Michael is developing two feature films, Strev Brosky Living in Allentown and Wow, Love Again!, and will launch the Indepth Arts and Care Podcast on March 5th, 2025. The annual Arts and Care event will follow in August 2025. Always looking for creative collaborations, community outreach, and engagement.
